Survivor’s sagas: Women in Montana share their battles with breast cancer. This article by Erin Madison for the Great Falls Tribune tells of 2 women diagnosed with breast cancer. Gloria Badgett is a custom machine quilter and tells how her quilting was therapy during her illness. Francie Towne’s family and friends made her a quilt before her surgery. Read more here.

In New Zealand, the Taradale quilters made 100 quilts for World Palliative Care Day and displayed them at the Hawke’s Bay Hospital’s Harding Hall. Click on the image for the complete story.
