Rural Women’s Health Project

The Rural Women’s Health Project are using photographic quilts to tell the story of Lay-Health workers. There are six quilts in all. The Rural Women’s Health Project (RWHP), founded in 1991, is a non-profit organization that designs and implements community-based, health-education projects, trainings, and materials to assist communities in strengthening their understanding of critical health, occupational and family issues. The RWHP serves rural communities with a focus on the Hispanic  Immigrant and farmworker communities.
